Gamer Gods- All Of Your Gaming Needs

LittleBigPlanet PSP

Graphics: Unlike some people who DARE down-review because of graphics. I didn't take the "oh well if it looks worse than the ps3 version its an ugly game" approach. No, this game is one of the best looking PSP games up to date considering how much you will be doing. You can find thousands of textures in levels alone and the game manages to work at 30-40 fps all the time. It isn't an easy task to make a good looking PSP game due to it's non-existent anti-aliasing, but you'll forget about a few jagged edges in no time. Levels seem much more simplistic without the lighting and less happening on the screen at once, but that isn't a bother. This game just feels amazing and the graphics aren't there to amaze, they are there to charm. Gameplay: I am proud to say that the game plays better on the PSP. Sure, the jumps still might feel floaty to some, but the deduction of one plain completely rids of the glitches from switching to background-foreground on PS3. It also feels right at home on the PSP too. The level design styles are different between Cambridge Studio and Media Molecule's games, but they are both solid in their own ways. While the PSP doesn't offer as many side-trails, the design ensures challenges in every which way, and the game feels natural. The developer levels do not feel at all like things made on a grid to follow, they go above and beyond to be as un-organized and frantic as possible. Create mode is back too, and it is very good on the PSP. At that, it's one of the only things that might bug

No details on price or date were revealed in today's short announcement, but we expect the game to cost a similar $9.99 when it finally does arrive. Final Fantasy IX was released in 2000 and was the third game in the franchise to appear on the Sony PS1 console. The game introduced new features to the series, such as the Active Time Events, Moogle save system, and a revamped equipment and skill system. Read more...
